I believe the ending of poverty is the cultural assignment of our time. Keep beating the drum, keep spreading the message, keep laughing and have a good time.
Ossie Davis is the recipient of the 2005 Eleanor Roosevelt Human Rights Award in honor of his lifelong work as artist, activist, and humanitarian. A champion of workers' rights, he walked on picket lines all his life. He knew that the freedom to form unions is one of the best ways to fight poverty. Ossie inspires us all.
We mourn the passing of this great activist and actor with this off-set poster on heavy, glossy paper. Muted green and red against black.
