In 1993, Northland Poster Collective was contacted by the law firm of Blunt & Schum in Illinois (officially designated by the BLE & BMWE serving rail labor since 1984), requesting permission to print this poster in their newsletter: “RR Trial Talk”, in conjunction with a story about the difficulties that track workers were having with the railroads in furnishing them with suitable washroom facilities on the job site. This problem had been on-going for several years.
The poster served as a humorous response on the part of the railroad to the continuing discussions concerning this problem.
